Start an Instructor Session

Start Local Session

1. From the home screen, click Instructor.

2. Go to the Session tab and click Start Session.

3. This creates a local session that can be discovered by nearby student devices.

Assigning Skins and Controlling Parameters

1. From the Session tab, assign different monitor or ventilator skins to the student.

2. Control the student's parameters from the Monitor tab.

Ending the Session

• When the session is complete, tap End Session to disconnect the student.

Join a Session as Student

Join Local Session

1. On the student device, click Student.

2. The instructor's session will be automatically discovered.

3. Tap on the session to join.

4. The student is now ready to start training.

Remote Sessions

Remote sessions allow instructors and students in different locations connecting via the internet.

Start a Remote Session (Instructor)

1. From the sessions tab, choose ‘Remote’

2. Click Start Session.

3. Share the session code displayed on the instructor screen with the student.

Join a Remote Session (Student)

1. Enter the session code provided by the instructor.

2. Join the session.

3. The remote connection functions the same as a local session, with the instructor controlling the monitor as before.

FAQs

Can I use iOS and Android devices together?

Yes! iOS and Android devices can be used together - but only during a Remote Session. They will not work together during a local session.

I’m having trouble getting my devices connected

How many devices can be connected to one instructor session?

During local sessions, the total device limit connected to any single instructor session is 8 (1 instructor, 7 students)

Can I create sessions with multiple instructors or groups?

Yes! Multiple instructors groups can run side by side.

Remember to edit the instructor session name to make it easy to choose which session you want students to join.
