Enabling or Disabling TruMonitor and TruVent Licenses on Your Device

When launching the TruMonitor app for the first time, both TruMonitor and TruVent licenses are activated automatically on the device.

⚠️ Why This Matters

This automatic activation ensures a seamless experience across all features.

However, in some cases, it may result in unintended license usage.

Example:
You may intend to use a device only for TruMonitor, but if TruVent is also activated by default, it will occupy a TruVent license unnecessarily.

✅ How to Disable a Product License

To prevent a device from using a license you don’t intend it to:

  1. Open the TruMonitor app on the device.

  2. Go to Manage Licenses.

  3. Locate the product (e.g. TruVent) you want to disable.

  4. Turn the switch off.

This immediately removes the selected product from the device and frees up the license for use elsewhere.

The product becomes disabled and unavailable on this device.

Now you can refresh your licenses on another device to activate this product there instead.

ℹ️ Notes

  • You can change this setting at any time.

  • A license must be disabled first before it can be used on another device.

  • The device needs to be online to sync license changes.
