Activating Monitor Waveforms / Connecting Leads
Use the visibility buttons to activate different monitor waveforms.
Changes in visibility are applied instantly on the student monitor.
Did you know?
Underlying patient vital signs can be changed even if leads are not connected, useful for preparing changes in advance, or using ‘non invasive blood pressure’
Adjust Heart Rate and Other Patient Vitals
Use the sliders to adjust the heart rate and other patient vitals.
These changes are ‘prepared’ not sent to the student until the update button is pressed.Press UPDATE to confirm the changes
Change vitals over a time period
The trend time function allows changes to be made over a specified period, for example, ‘increase HR to 100 over 30 seconds’
Press the timer button to select the change duration you want.
Prepare any changes to the vital sign.
Press UPDATE to start the change
Change a Waveform Pattern
Tap on a waveform to select a new pattern.
These change is ‘prepared’ not sent to the student until the update button is pressed.Press UPDATE to activate the change
Making multiple updates at once
Prepare any waveform and value changes you want to make - as many as you want.
Press Update when you are ready to send the values to the monitor.
Resetting all Parameters
Pressing Reset restores the following to their default state:
Patient vitals
Patient waveforms
Custom values
CPR Activation
PEA
